CDRG an CAMIC, a Natural Alliance
CDRG and the Canadian Association of Mutual Insurance Companies (CAMIC) have recently signed a national service agreement. CDRG members from across Canada can now offer the CAT Red Teams support system to members of CAMIC. This partnership was born out of a natural fit between CDRG’s CAT Red teams and CAMIC'S business model. Both companies share similar values and vision.
"Our desire to form a partnership with CAMIC comes from having a number of CDRG members currently servicing various Mutuals. In order to better our current services to them, an agreement had to be made," states Simon Frigon, President of CDRG.
When we compare business models, we can clearly see that there are a lot of similarities between CDRG and CAMIC.
The CAMIC is a trade association of property and casualty insurance companies formed as Mutuals. Similar to CDRG's mission, their role is to help their member companies become the property and casualty insurers of choice in the Canadian market. They do so by providing information, research and advocacy to its members in areas of general concern and negotiating supply agreements for goods and services of common needs.
