CDRG partners with the Canadian Association of Mutual Insurance Companies

The Canadian Disaster Restoration Group (CDRG) is a network of independently owned and operated restoration companies. Each CDRG member company must, as a membership condition, offer 24 hour per day, 365 days per year emergency response within 30 minutes of receiving your call and each such member must possess water extraction vehicles, drying equipment, odour removal equipment and must have access to secure storage for equipment and inventory while restoring your clients' premises. Further, each CDRG member service provider must be IICRC (The Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification) certified and must have access to emergency board-up crews and a trained labour pool. CDRG has over 68 certified members doing business from 100 rural and semi rural locations across Canada (list attached). To be better able to meet the demand following catastrophic events, CDRG has formed three Red Teams whose role is to help CDRG member companies when the demand for their services is overwhelming. CDRG commits the services of these three Red Teams to three national insurers. CAMIC has just signed an agreement with CDRG to become, on behalf of its member companies, one of the three companies having access to the services of the Red teams. By virtue of the agreement between CAMIC and CDRG, CAMIC members who use the services of any CDRG member company will have access to the CDRG Red Team should a catastrophe occurs in the territory in which the CAMIC member does business.
