The Bio

Robert Hoad
Environmental Consultant

Robert is a senior environmental technician with over 20 years of consulting experience and a founding partner with Concentric Associates International Incorporated. Robert is responsible for procuring, coordinating and directing designated/hazardous substances surveys, indoor air quality assessments and asbestos abatement inspection programs. Robert routinely develops specifications for abatement projects in accordance with Ontario Regulation 278, prepares asbestos management plans and provides asbestos awareness training to various groups including (but not limited to) restoration contractors and federal government departments. Robert is also a certified Microbial Investigator (CMI) board awarded designation from the American Indoor Air Quality Council and has provided oversight to over 100 mold assessment and abatement projects.

Robert has completed numerous designated substance/asbestos materials survey and asbestos abatement projects for various government departments (all levels) including Public Works and Government Services Canada, the National Capital Commission, the Government of Nunavut and the City of Ottawa. Mr. Hoad has also completed projects at the Canadian Space Agency in Ottawa, Ontario and Canadian Forces military installations in Bosnia-Herzegovina.

He has been a strong advocate for the creation of a national network of insurance restoration specialists. He has great confidence in the benefits of the CDRG organization and looks forward to its future development.
