The Bio

David Ryan
Strategic Consultant

An entrepreneur involved in multiple businesses’ David Ryan brings experience from different fields.  He has experience in the insurance industry from owning a Cooperators Franchise for 9 years, which he sold in 2002.  Through other partnerships, he has been involved in Rickshaws to a web venture while being a silent partner for Xpertek Construction Inc. for the last 4 years.  David currently works as the CEO of Lapointe Drainage, a heavy construction contractor involved in road building and site development.

A graduate of the Administration program of the University of Ottawa, David brings his multiple experiences in Start Ups and business development to the CDRG leadership group.  David was one of the founders and the past president of the Ottawa Entrepreneurs Organization.  As a husband and a father of 2, David spends most of his free time hanging around the house with the kids.
